Buster Moon and his friends must persuade rock star Clay Calloway to join them in opening a new show.
Buster and his new actor are now scheduled to debut a new performance at the Crystal Tower Theater in the enchanting city of Redshore. But without ties, he and his singers have to sneak into the office of Crystal Entertainment, led by unscrupulous wolf mogul Jimmy Crystal, where the band launches a ridiculous idea to throw their program at lion rock legend Clay Calloway. Buster must embark on a search to find the now separated clay and get him back on stage.
